United Nations Association of Berkeley

The United Nations Association of Berkeley is dedicated to raising awareness about pressing global issues and empowering students to take action on them for lasting impact. UNAB is the UC Berkeley campus chapter of UNA-USA. United Nations at Berkeley (UNAB) is the official UC Berkeley campus chapter of the United Nations Association. We are an advocacy-based organization dedicated to educating the students and citizens of Berkeley about pressing global issues and empowering them to take action on them for lasting impact. As part of this mission, we host events and speakers, hold advocacy campaigns, and interact with the local community, including collaborations with other student organizations. We also work closely with our parent chapter, the United Nations Association, East Bay, and the broader Northern California region! We invite and encourage all Berkeley students to join our community and help making a lasting impact on the world! Students in UNAB are organized into project groups designed to help further UN goals. This semester (Fall 2023) the project groups will be aiding a local UNA event, and an additional project group based on student interests.
