The Undergraduate Sociology Association at Berkeley (BUSA) is committed to supporting the scholars of our department. The purpose of this organization shall be, but not limited to, -fostering community amongst sociologists, e.g. undergraduates, graduates, professors, and professionals -advocating for the needs the students within the department of sociology at the University of California, Berkeley -cultivating relationships with partners and organizations to uplift the needs of professional development, career exploration, and self-fulfillment -developing recruitment and retention efforts for the scholars of our discipline -offer programming geared towards academic enrichment, research, community, civic engagement, and advocacy for social justice issues
