The Berkeley Project
COMMUNITY SERVICE - SOCIAL
The Berkeley Project began in 2006 as a one-day service event. We have since expanded Berkeley Project Day to an annual 2,000 person event where volunteers work on service projects throughout the City of Berkeley. From working at elementary schools to planting trees and making meals for the homeless to helping out at senior centers, our volunteers devote a total of 12,000+ hours and save the City of Berkeley over $400,000 every year. Members may join a committee to help plan the service events, volunteer, site lead, and/or become a Core Director. Sign up for Berkeley Project Day today at www.berkeleyproject.org!
