Purpose
We define Tetris as a broad genre of puzzle/“stacker” games, subdividable into multiple subgenres (including Classic and Modern), but united by these universally recognized gameplay elements:
Tetris is a game where you move and rotate square geometric shapes, which fall to the bottom of the screen and pile up. If a line is filled horizontally, it disappears and the player receives positive feedback. If the shapes reach the top of the play area, the player receives negative feedback.

We strive to foster a community encompassing all clients implementing this concept, including TETR.IO, Jstris, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, NES Tetris, Tetris Grandmaster 3, Tetris Effect: Connected, and Tetris 99. To do so, we discuss strategies, share tips and tricks, and study the game, with emphasis on its technical depth. Lastly, we participate in internal, as well as external, competitions, both as individuals and school team(s).
