Students of Color Emerging in English

Students of Color Emerging in English or SOCEE (formely Latinx Emerging in English) is a student organization on campus that is geared to support students of color who are interested in literature or interested/already pursuing a degree in English. By focusing on community building and academic support through study groups, workshops, panels, and events, we hope to increase the recruitment and retention in the Undergraduate English Department at Cal.
