The Science Policy Group at Berkeley is an organization of UC Berkeley students across all disciplines that strive to actively engage and participate in the intersection of science and policy. Goals of SPG include: increase conversation among students and the campus community at large on science policy issues; enable students to advocate for science and evidence-based policies at the local, state, and national level; provide educational and professional development opportunities for students to become strong advocates for science now and in their future careers; support and advocate for strong federal funding for science, technology, and engineering.
