Purpose: Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPICMACAY) at Berkeley is dedicated to preserving and cultivating an appreciation for the rich and varied cultural heritage of South Asia. Through the mediums of classical music, folk and traditional dance, craftsmanship, yoga, meditation, cinema, theater, and enlightening discussions, we strive to spark and nurture a profound cultural awakening among today's youth. We achieve this through direct engagement with esteemed artistic pioneers.
