SAAS (Student Association for Applied Statistics)

We are an organization of students from various academic disciplines who share a passion for statistics and data science. We offer a community of resources, workshops, professional events, and research and consulting projects. We are a community of UC Berkeley students with a shared interest in data science. We offer consulting projects, workshops, resources, and professional events. We strive to foster an inclusive community for students at UC Berkeley with an interest in applied statistics. Through hands-on learning opportunities, we hope to equip our members with the confidence and technical skills needed for a successful transition from academic to post-graduate life. Our internal events provide opportunities for members to build relationships with like-minded peers through both friendship and mentorship, and our external events allow members to connect with faculty, companies, and other campus organizations.
