Project RISHI, The Berkeley Chapter

To provide for the basic, social and healthcare needs of rural Indian villages and to provide UC Berkeley undergraduates with exposure to community service, international outreach, and rural development. Project RISHI is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the sustainable development and growth of rural Indian communities. In partnership with local people and social enterprises, we identify issues central to our target communities and provide the resources to implement solutions through extensive field research and on-campus initiatives.
