Phalanx: Pre-Medical Consulting

An organization dedicated to providing pre-medical consulting services, mentorship, and a network of support to a select group of incoming pre-medical freshmen at UC Berkeley. Services are provided by a team of upperclassmen consultants. The pre-medical path is a hard one - which is why Phalanx is here to help. As an independent, student-run and founded group, we seek to provide free pre-medical consulting, long term mentorship, and a myriad of resources from experienced pre-medical students to incoming freshmen at Cal. We particularly seek to encourage initiative, innovation and the pursuit of unique passions among our clients. In this way, we hope to instill in them the values and skills needed to succeed not only as a pre-medical student and medical school applicant, but also as the future physician-leaders in science, medical technology, and public health.
