Paws for Mental Health
HEALTH AND WELLNESS - SCIENCES - SOCIAL
Paws for Mental Health is an organization that seeks to promote mental health through canine companions. The unconditional love of a dog can relieve feelings of stress, anxiety, and/or depression. However, having a dog is oftentimes not a viable option to students here at UC Berkeley. Our objective is to host regular gatherings and events of local dogs along with their owners and other students to provide a positive and safe space for de-stressing and relaxing. This can allow for students to forget about the daily rigors of academia and unwind.
