PIH Engage at Berkeley is committed to advancing individuals' right to health locally, nationally, and globally. We accomplish this through 3 core committees: Education, Fundraising & Advocacy. At PIH Engage at Berkeley, we recognize a call to action against vast global health inequity. We leverage our position as members of the UC Berkeley community to support the work of international non-profit, Partners In Health, in improving health outcomes in the poorest regions of the world. We accomplish this through 3 core committees: Advocacy, Education, and Fundraising. We seek to treat not only the symptoms but the causes of vast health inequity, and to do so whilst prioritizing the dignity of patients and partnering with local organizations. We are committed to building a fun and diverse community of individuals from across disciplines, experiences, and skills: all championing the cause of global health. In everything we do we keep the advancement of the right to health at the forefront of our actions.
