Medical Reallocation Initiative

The Medical Reallocation Initiative facilitates the shipment of surplus medical supplies from the United States to underserved hospitals and clinics abroad and helps its members develop a greater understanding of global health inequalities. MRI aims to support underserved communities abroad by facilitating the reallocation of unused medical supplies from clinics and hospitals in the US. While other organizations may provide service to communities abroad by visiting different countries and joining frontline work, our organization offers members an opportunity to make an equally substantial impact from Berkeley, primarily through resource allocation. Through our weekly fundraising events and service events with local partners, we constantly provide members with a variety of opportunities to make an impact.
