MEDLIFE

MEDLIFE is a non-profit that partners with low-income communities to improve their access to medicine, education, and community development. Our students volunteer on Service Learning Trips abroad and empower underserved communities in the Bay Area. MEDLIFE (Medicine, Education, and Development for Low-Income Families Everywhere) is an organization dedicated to helping families achieve greater freedom from the constraints of poverty, empowering them to live healthier lives. To bring the mission of our acronym to the people in need, we work globally through our DeCal which focuses on global health issues, including topics such as the cultural and historical contexts of health disparities in Peru, where we are based. We also work locally with our club, where we will discuss the systematic causes of homelessness and what actions we can take to help.
