Latino/a Students in Engineering and Science

The mission of LAGSES is to promote the recruitment and retention of Latino/a graduate students in engineering and science. The Latino Association of Graduate Students in Engineering and Science (LAGSES) at UC Berkeley was founded in 1994 by Latino students to provide a cohesive group for incoming and continuing Latino/a graduate students at UC Berkeley. Now a multicultural organization whose mission is to recruit and retain Latino/a graduate students at UC Berkeley. We provide academic and social activities for support and networking. LAGSES members are committed to helping Latino/a students enter and graduate from UC Berkeley graduate programs in engineering and science.
