Imago Dei Clinic

MEDICAL / HEALTHCARE - RELIGIOUS

Imago Dei Clinic is a Christian nonprofit committed to saving lives and empowering the homeless community by providing harm-reduction services and sharing Biblical truth. Our vision is to bring God's light into the darkness of addiction. Imago Dei originates from the Greek, "Image of God." We recognize the God-given worth of every individual by meeting with our neighbors where they are at and building those mutually-beneficial relationships. We hold weekly outreaches at different locations around the Bay Area. Currently we serve People's Park, Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, and West Oakland. Our volunteers are taught the history of the opioid epidemic and how it has negatively impacted our communities. Prior to outreach, volunteers are trained to know what health supplies we pass out, how to engage with the homeless population, and the steps needed to help someone currently overdosing. Outreach leaders and their groups then venture out to carry the mission of Imago Dei. If this interests you, please fill out our application form. We are always open to new ideas and accept all volunteers! If you would like to serve remotely, feel free to reach out by email or through any of our social medias.
