Heart at Berkeley

Heart at Berkeley is committed to building a student community to address healthcare disparities through the lens of political advocacy. Modeled after the American Heart Association's grassroots healthcare advocacy program, Heart at Berkeley is committed to building a student community to combine social advocacy with a passion for healthcare. Members of this organization will learn about and discuss upcoming legislation in healthcare, email/call legislators to demand change in the healthcare system, spread awareness about upcoming legislation, and address disparities in the healthcare system among other like-minded peers.
