Graduate Association of Latinx Students (GALS)

Graduate Association of Latinx Students (GALS) seeks to address the social, political, academic, cultural, and educational issues and concerns that affect the Latinx graduate and professional community at UC Berkeley. Graduate Association of Latinx Students (GALS) will:• Serve as a cross-departmental bridge for the Latinx graduate and professional student body to build community and networks. • Engage in the academic and professional development of graduate and professional students.• Coordinate support and mentorship to Latinx undergraduate students.• Create a safe space for intercultural, cross cultural and diverse communities to collaborate and build relationships for transformative action.
