Geological Association at Berkeley
SCIENCES - RESEARCH
GAB is a geoscience-focused club where students discuss and appreciate the natural world, particularly as it relates to Earth science.
Our mission is to inspire involvement in the geological and Earth sciences by providing a physical space for Berkeley undergraduates interested in science to form communities outside of a traditional academic environment.
We meet once a week to talk about current events, hear presentations from students about Earth science research or related interests, and play an intense game of geopardy.
Any and everyone is welcome to stop by for a night or join us weekly for the year! We welcome students of all majors and experience levels. We go on occasional day trips and a semesterly multi-day camping trip in addition to collaborating with the EPS department to host academic events. If you're looking for course advice or pizza or even a group of people to go hiking in Tilden with, we're your crew!
For more info or to get involved contact our current president Nico: nicolasv03@berkeley.edu
We meet every Thursday from 6:30-7:30 in McCone 325
