GeoWall at Berkeley

GeoWall is a competition team that is part of a larger organization called ASCE. The team allows students to learn about geotechnical engineering and apply classroom knowledge and compete against other schools in the annual Mid-Pacific conference. GeoWall at Berkeley is a Civil Engineering Competition team that competes in the Mid-Pacific Conference organized by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Our goal is to build a materially stabilized earth wall and compete against other schools. Our team offers hands on activities that students would normally not be able to obtain in a traditional class setting and apply knowledge they do learn in class. The team also offers leadership positions which allow students to build leadership skills and communicattion skills as well, as there is an oral section to the competition.
