GENup Collegiate at Berkeley

GENup Collegiate at Berkeley is a student-activist coalition that strives to advocate for educational issues through the power of youth voices and to provide a strong structural framework for progressive activism. Our goal is to bring all student-based stakeholders in the Californian community together into one large-body and utilize its centralized power to advocate for educational issues and causes. We seek to build an expansive network of student-leaders, innovators, activists, and organizations who work together to fight for a united and powerful front on issues relating to education. We strive to mobilize the youth in all manners of educational activism whether that be through social media advocacy, legislative lobbying, or grassroots level field-work of canvassing and phone banking. GENup Collegiate at Berkeley seeks to expand its network into the collegiate environment to advocate for legislative educational reform, which is where Berkeley students come in to take the lead.
