GA Basic Needs Security Project

GA Basic Needs Project Group The Basic Needs Security(BNS) Officer coordinates and oversees advocacy efforts to address the short-and long-term basic needs security (i.e. security in housing, food, childcare, and healthcare) for academic and professional graduate students at the University of California, Berkeley. To this capacity, the BNSOfficer works closely with the Basic Needs Center to provide a critical graduate student perspective onthe direction, accessibility, promotion, and creation of services. Other campus partners include: theStudent Advocate’s Office (SAO), PATH to Care, and so forth.
