Foster Education Project
LAW - HUMANITIES / SOCIAL SCIENCES
Foster Education Project provides members of the Berkeley Law community with opportunities to perform direct services to foster children in the community, and to receive training in Youth, Education, and Disability Law.
Our organization serves foster youth in the Bay Area. We pair each student with a single child, and file paperwork with the court to become a legal education rights holder. Our main responsibility is to advocate for the youth at their school and in IEP meetings to ensure that they are receiving adequate services.
