READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! <a href="https://callink.berkeley.edu/form/start/50936">callink.berkeley.edu</a> Go the URL below or click "read more" to find the hyperlink. <a href="https://callink.berkeley.edu/form/start/50936">callink.berkeley.edu</a> ETHNIC STUDIES 5TH ACCOUNT FUNDING APPLICATION 2023-2024 The Ethnic Studies Fifth Account funding is only applicable to student-initiated events that meet the criteria of departmental sponsorship, significant impact on students, and cultural education. Once you submit your application please do the following: Email a copy of your application, or application number to Ethnic Studies 5th Account Chair, Angelica at 5thaccountchair@gmail.com. In the email: 1. Attach your budget overview, complete with the amount you are requesting 2. A flyer for the event (please note, if your application is submitted, we kindly ask you include our name on the flyer) 3. A brief overview of your club/organization/event to be shared during the meeting *Please note, we ask that all applicants are aware we ask your event be ADA accessible, and that a land acknowledgement is read. Once your application is completed, please allow 72 hours for your application to be reviewed and a member of the committee will reach out with next steps. Next steps include, but are not limited to: joining a meeting with the committee to review the application and allow for questions. The Ethnic Studies Fifth Account Committee will meet to review proposals every alternating weeks at a designated time and during both the Fall and Spring semester. The committee will meet in 554 social sciences building. Please Also Note: All receipts must be submitted to the chair (schedule meeting through email) no later than 2 weeks after the date of the event. All funding from the 5th Account is Reimbursement Based. Not doing this step will result in not being funded.
