Engineers and Mentors of Berkeley

SCIENCES - RESEARCH

Come teach hands-on science and engineering lessons to local elementary and middle schools! All majors welcome! BEAM is a student run organization that develops and teaches hands-on science and engineering activities to K-8 grade levels at local schools. Our goal is to make science and engineering more approachable and encourage students to pursue classes and careers in STEM-related fields. We train college students to be effective mentors, role models, and leaders in their community. As students ourselves, we understand that the best way to learn is to teach. Berkeley students earn course credit while improving their mentoring skills.
