Dance Creation

We hope to introduce students to the process of creating dance choreography and teaching it to fellow club members, as well as giving the opportunity for students to learn more about the different styles of dance; particularly pole dance. Dance Creation hopes to foster a community of strong dancers that will share their choreography creations with each other. Any level of dancer is welcome, and each person will be put into a level group that will be the most beneficial for the dancer to grow in their dancing, improvisation, and choreography making. The primary style of dance will be contemporary, but any style is welcome. Dance Creation club members will be able to choose the style of dance they want to work, create, and learn with, and eventually teach it to their level group. In addition, a super unique style of dance will be introduced to the members: pole dance. If members are interested in learning about pole dance, there will be info sessions on what pole dance is, how to start, and opportunities to go to pole dance classes.
