Cub Support
EDUCATION - COMMUNITY SERVICE
Cub Support strives to provide academic support for students from the comfort of their own homes. We want to help close educational disparities by providing free, virtual academic support to K-12 students in under-served communities.
Enjoy tutoring and working with kids? Want to give back to those in need?
Cub Support was formed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to aid in the transition to virtual learning grade-school students. The shift from the traditional classroom to remote learning can exacerbate educational disparities—especially for students who are from low-income families and underserved communities. Cub Support strives to help close the gap by providing free, virtual academic support to K-12 students. With the closure of schools and the shift to remote learning, we wanted to provide as much support as possible.
While schools have and continue to reopen, Cub Support's passionate cohort of tutors continues to provide free educational services to those in need. Members hold remote tutoring sessions with K-12 students anywhere in the nation. Tutors match themselves to their students to ensure they can best support them for their desired academic subject and grade level.
