Community Legal Outreach

CLO, aka The Tenants’ Rights Workshop, helps protect the legal rights and remedies of tenants in Oakland, Berkeley, and Alameda. During weekly clinics, students interview clients and then work one-on-one with staff attorneys from EBCLC Community Legal Outreach (CLO) recruits and trains first year law students at Berkeley Law to conduct legal workshops and provide legal services, counseling, and referrals for the benefit of low income individuals in the surrounding community. The workshops are conducted under the supervision of lawyers from the East Bay Community Law Center. All of our legal services are completely free.
