Cal Queer & Asian

Cal Q&A was established to provide a space for safety, support, and empowerment for and to meet the needs of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer and questioning individuals interested in queer and Asian topics. Dedicated to building community among Queer & Asian students, Cal Queer & Asian welcomes all interested students to join us. Whether you’re still questioning, seeking friends, looking for activism/leadership/educational opportunities and beyond, Cal Q&A is a great group to join. You don’t even have to be queer or Asian - anyone who has a genuine interest is considered family :) Cal Q&A was founded in 1995 on the UC Berkeley campus as a student organization dedicated to the intersectionality of the Queer and Asian identities. Through meetings, various monthly events, and our annual conference, Cal Q&A acts as a safe space, social group, and support network for any and every student on the UC Berkeley campus. Our meetings are casual and relaxed, and we invite students to come in at anytime and bring a friend if they like.
