CALICO Informatics Competition
DATA AND COMPUTING - EDUCATION - SOCIAL
Why solve problems when you can create them instead?
The California Informatics Competition (CALICO) organizes algorithmic programming contests to help students learn problem-solving skills and algorithms in a fun and exciting way! Our main event is a semiannual hybrid online/in-person team contest with 1800+ contestants from around the world featuring a broad range of topics and challenges for all skill levels.
From problem writing to event logistics to contest infrastructure to art, we can really use your help! Joining CALICO is a great way to learn computer science, meet friends, and have fun! We are an **OPEN CLUB** and there is **NO APPLICATION PROCESS**--anyone is welcome to join, regardless of background or prior experience!
We have general meetings every Friday 6pm at Soda/Cory (attendance recommended). We also have various worksessions throughout the week (attendance optional). Join our Discord to see our current meeting schedule.
We organize the club primarily using Discord, where we post announcements, meeting schedules, and discuss everything. To get access, please fill out this form: https://forms.gle/Yr8cb22YCR9G4FVcA
