To cultivate the next generation of Brown Leaders through civic engagement, community support, narrative change, and political awareness. Brown Issues focuses on organizing the next generation of Brown leaders. This can only be accomplished through civic engagement, social and emotional health support, and narrative change. Brown Issues understands that certain narratives about Brown folks continue to negatively impact our communities; therefore, we challenge the dominant discourse that erodes our communities. Thus, increasing the focus on community issues rather than mundane rhetoric that continue to divide and affect marginalized communities.
