The Bridge Club at Berkeley welcomes all students, faculty, and staff who are interested in the game of bridge. Bridge is a fun and strategic game for four players (two teams of two) using a standard deck of playing cards. About The Bridge Club at Berkeley welcomes all students, faculty, and staff who are interested in the game of bridge. Bridge is a fun and strategic game for four players (two teams of two) using a standard deck of playing cards. We are a teaching club and everyone is welcome, even if you’ve never played bridge before. Our meetings are casual and focus on playing the game socially. We also play in club games and tournaments in the Bay area, and compete in national tournaments against other college bridge clubs. During fall and spring semesters, our weekly casual games on campus (Sunday 1-4pm) focus on teaching, learning, and informal play. We compete in local club games and local and national tournaments, and are several-time Collegiate Bridge Bowl champions.
