Berkeley Innovation

Berkeley Innovation is a human-centered design group at UC Berkeley. Founded in 2003, our members come from a wide range of disciplines, but share a common love for design thinking and innovation. Each semester, we work on design projects that give members hands-on experience with the entire design process, from conducting user research to building and marketing prototypes. We exist as a community for students who are interested in design to develop their design thinking skills and experience. We also run the Human-Centered Design DeCal—an introductory, project-based course teaching the fundamentals of design (learn more at hcd-decal.org). Engage with us!
