The purpose of AV is to provide a safe space, to create a social environment for networking and community building for the Queer/Trans Latinx community on campus. Amores Valientes is a community of Queer & Trans Latinx students at University of California Berkeley. The purpose of AV is to provide a safe space, to create a social environment for networking and community building for the Queer/Trans Latinx community on campus. AV does this by having programming and collaborating with other organizations on campus following the democratic principles of participation and where respect and confidentiality are fostered.
