American Society of Civil Engineers

The Berkeley Chapter of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) contributes to the enrichment of the broad civil engineering profession by serving the civil engineering community at Berkeley through social and professional development opportunities. The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) at Berkeley is a college chapter of the globally recognized community of Civil Engineers pushing the boundaries of the Civil Engineering profession. As an extension of the broader organization, ASCE serves the civil and environmental engineering community on the UC Berkeley campus. We promote the civil engineering profession on a college level by fostering a fun and inclusive community, by offering career preparatory workshops, by hosting professional development events (e.g. company-sponsored infosessions and career fairs), by peer-to-peer mentoring, and overall providing resources to promote the success of our students.
