American Sign Language at Berkeley

The purpose is to learn and discuss ASL, to facilitate a community between hearing and Deaf communities, and to bring awareness to ableism and the issues facing the Deaf community. We will also host events and activities surrounding ASL and Deaf culture. ASL at Berkeley aims to discuss and learn ASL, facilitate a community between hearing and Deaf communities, and to bring awareness to ableism and the issues that the Deaf community face. Our goal is to spread resources made by the Deaf and hard of hearing people to amplify their point of views on the issues they face. If you are interested in bringing awareness to the issues the Deaf community faces, learning basic ASL then join us at one of our meetings.
