About AAVP:
The ASUC Office of the Academic Affairs Vice President (AAVP) focuses on enhancing students’ academic experience by identifying barriers to academic success and creating proactive solutions through the development of innovative campuswide programming, supportive services, and policy initiatives. Our agenda for the year includes the revitalization of the Undergraduate-Graduate Mentorship Program, advocacy for more supportive and mental health-conscious advising services, the distribution of over a dozen scholarships and grants, and so much more. AAVP community members can expect to gain valuable leadership experience in a supportive and dynamic space, collaborate with campus leaders, and make powerful, positive academic change at UC Berkeley.
