ASCE Sustainable Solutions

ASCE Sustainable Solutions Competition Team allows students to apply principles of structural and construction engineering to design and fabricate sustainable structures under real-world scenarios facing the built environment. Sustainable Solutions Competition Team is an American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) competition team that competes in the annual Mid-Pacific Conference held in April. Throughout the school year, we provide members unique, hands-on experience in a variety of Civil Engineering aspects such as sustainability, design, and construction. Our work really mimics that of the industry as some more specific topics we cover include life cycle assessment, shop fabrication, and sustainable design. We also support our members by providing several resources to build their skills including 3D modeling, leadership, and communication. Nonetheless, we really focus on fostering a supportive and welcoming community! You do not need any experience coming in as we will be sure to give you all the information and resources needed to thrive! Overall, if you are hoping to grow outside of your courses while still having some fun, come join our team!
